Andrew’s 2017 graduate thesis presentation for the Yale Institute of Sacred Music was on the neurological power of collective participatory singing to form community in the face of grief and larger sociopolitical change. Building on these ideas, he and musician Arlen Hart Ginsburg have spent the subsequent seven years writing a musical about isolation and belonging.  In the plot of Sing With Me, a character searching for his own voice discovers he's in a musical and therefore has no voice of his own. He escapes into the audience, and eventually leads them in a collective singing experience that bridges both worlds.

A staged reading of the play was produced at The Tank NYC in March of 2024, and they now seek to develop the play towards a full NYC production. See more info and videos on our Instagram.
